The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday slapped the stringent Gangsters Act on independent member of legislative assembly Raghuraj Pratap Singh, better known as Raja Bhaiya.Raja Bhaiya, his cousin and Samajwadi Party Member of Parliament Akshay Pratap Singh and their two aides Hari Om Srivastava and Nanhe Singh have all been charged under the Act.Raja Bhaiya had earlier been put behind bars during Mayawati's last regime.
